6 Things I Wish I Knew Sooner

After being in the online space for the past few years, there is no doubt that I have learned a thing or two. I've been able to take in new information, adjust to new strategies, invest in new programmes, and learn from my mistakes. I'll admit that I haven't always been successful in every launch, every new product, and every new course I've put out. But I have grown from where I started, and that's the true end goal.

Read on for 6 things I wish I would have known sooner.

  1. Waiting won’t change things. There's no better time than the present so just take the leap. Embrace the now and take action – it's the first step towards turning your dreams into reality.

  2. Wanting to please everyone else can also mean not pleasing yourself. It's essential to remember that your happiness and fulfillment should be a top priority. Taking care of yourself is not a selfish act, but a necessary one to maintain a balanced and sustainable journey.

  3. Your dreams are never “unrealistic”. This intrusive thought is a product of fear and self-doubt. You have the power to dream as big as you want, and you should never allow fear to hold you back. Embrace your dreams and let them drive your passions.

  4. Doing what you love will always make you happier. It's easy to fall into the trap of working on projects solely for financial gain. Follow your passion, and you'll find that your work becomes a source of joy and fulfillment.

  5. You will never regret trying something new. Knowledge is power. So, don't let the fear of the unknown deter you. Welcome it as an opportunity to learn, evolve, and thrive.

  6. Don't try to avoid making mistakes. This is not the path to success. Embrace your mistakes as stepping stones on your journey, and don't shy away from making them.

Although I wish I had known things sooner, without the failure of learning, I never would have ended up where I am now. So remember to embrace the journey and take all of the bumps with it.
