5 Ways to Make Progress in 2023

The new year is a promise of new goals, challenges, and results. But if you really want results, there are some fundamental things you need to take responsibility for. You can't just expect your business and progress to change in 2023 without recognizing why you didn't get the results you wanted in the previous year. Here are a few basic business foundations that you can start to incorporate into your business this year.

1. Actively Choose

Choose yourself, every single day. Choose to focus on your actions so that you can achieve your goals, even if you have a mentor or are in a programme. It's your daily actions that will make the difference between where you are now and where you want to be 6 months from now.

2. In-between Time

Use your time with intention. Whether this is between calls, coaching sessions, or when you have downtime, use it wisely. The gap between sessions or support is the time you can show yourself what you are truly capable of and how much you can achieve in a short time.

3. Explore, Create & Track

Take time to explore the industry you are in, as well as other industries for ideas, innovation, trends, and strategies that you like. It's important to create from a place of originality and intuition so that you can bring newness to your brand. Then start to track what is working and what's not working, as well as what you enjoy and what you don't!

4. Be Brave & Specific With Your Plan

If you have bold goals, you need to take bold action. If not, you won't be able to follow through with the end result. Ensure your conversion goals are in line with your pricing structure. Take the time to create a roadmap to your success. This will make it much easier for you to actually make it happen!

5. Keep Yourself on Track

This is the time to set priorities and stick to them. It's easy to get shiny object syndrome at the beginning of the year because you can see all the new and fun things others are doing. But by being clear with yourself and what you're aiming to achieve, you can stay on track and move closer towards the end result.

It's easy for us to set new goals and resolutions for the new year, but without reflecting on the previous year and evaluating the basic foundation of our business, we won't achieve those goals or keep those resolutions.
