Don't Make Permanent Decisions on Temporary Emotions

Wednesday was a rough day. Migraine, low energy, meh. Honestly, the start of that week wasn't my BFF. Hormones, energy levels, lack of appetite, mindset monkeys, the launch comedown, motherhood, VAT returns due. It was a 72 hours.
And here's the truth: even though everything is more than "working," those few days had me believing it was all falling apart. Even though my clients are thriving in ways that make my heart sing, I had me believing I'd lost my touch. Looking at what's genuinely been a year of growth, purposeful pivots and impact, I still spiralled into thinking I'd never work with another ambitious woman again.
This Is Normal — It's Part of Being a Female Founder
Managing emotions. Dealing with hormonal changes. Juggling family, life, children. Riding the waves of your own energy and mood. This isn't a flaw in the system. It is the system, when you're a woman building something that matters.
What I Didn't Do
I didn't declare the spiral publicly. I didn't make any permanent decisions. I didn't scroll the internet for answers. I didn't make the feeling true. And I didn't let it become a reason to stop committing to what I'm building.
What I Did Instead
Early nights, and letting myself actually feel it instead of fighting it. Meditation and deep breaths. Time talking things through offline and sense-checking with people I trust. Quiet, behind-the-scenes progress based on what the feeling might actually be asking me to listen to.
None of Us Are Immune
This isn't my first rodeo, and it won't be my last. If I made a documentary comparing how I felt yesterday to how I feel today, every single one of you reading this would relate, because hormones, energy, mindset, motherhood, business, being the breadwinner… no one is immune from "one of those days."
So if you're a woman, a mother, a business owner, a founder, a breadwinner, welcome. Make yourself known. And on the days it feels heavy, remember: feel it, don't decide from it.
