Thoughts On Business Growth

Business growth can be painful, messy, and uncertain. If the reasons you aren't where you want to be have been the same for the past 3, 6, or 12 months, it's high time that you start looking deeper into the problem and think about why things haven't changed.

Staying in a space that does not make you feel fulfilled is not the solution.

Living your life in a constant state of "what if" or "soon" or "maybe" isn't going to generate the change you so desperately crave. It isn't going to lead to the business growth you desire. One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when they commit to change is focusing on the very end result.

Instead of focusing on the end result, focus on the smaller goals and steps along the way that get you to that bigger goal.

How to focus on the now:

  • Take it one step at a time.

  • Set micro-goals.

  • Know your plan for today.

  • Focus on creating constant mini successes.

  • Generate your own momentum from where you are.

If you only measure your success on the very end goal, demotivation will set in very quickly!

A big change is rarely instant. True expansion is seldom quick and simple! Create a roadmap for your business growth and work at the stage you're at. Start small, stay consistent, and keep going.

Your success isn't built on what you do once or twice but on what you do continuously, without instant results being your only driving force to keep going.
